CEO
Tanja is a cultural connector. She knows how to organize a community around critical and impactful issues. Through her work with local government, community leaders and major stakeholders, she knows how to connect developments and ideas to community in an authentic and genuine way. She is experienced in organational leadership, development strategies and executing innovative initiatives to move your organization forward in a substantial way.
Through employment with City of Memphis Housing and Community Development and Uptown Partnership, Tanja found her niche in community development and engagement.
Tanja has served on several boards including Grow Memphis, Memphis River Parks Partnership, Memphis Depot Redevelopment Agency, and A Step Ahead Foundation were she served as the board chair. She currently serves on boards that reflect her passion: Downtown Memphis Commission CCDC Board Chair, Memphis Housing Authority, Explore Bike Share and Overton Park Shell.
In 2018, Tanja was presented with a Downtown Vision Award for her service to the Downtown Community. Tanja is passionate about people and places and believes that every citizen deserves to live and play in communities that are safe, decent and satisfying. With nearly twenty years of experience in community development and engagement, Tanja is highly respected for her expertise in community building and relations.
